I saw the trailer in the cinema earlier. Was really confussing and then me and my friends thoguht "What kind of title is that.."
Unless it's got comical elements, it doesn't seem to fit I think. -------------------- |

Faaar from comedy. I'm not sure about the guy in the cell doing some zombie thing, but the plot of the movie (At least the original) was that a secret government virus escapes into the water supply of the town/city. It then makes the inhabitants go quite...crazy. Be it burning down their own house with no thought, or wandering through a hospital stabbing people with a pitch fork. The military are then sent in to kill survivors and contain the situation.
I'm not really expecting much from this, but go see it anyway. And then watch the original (W00t!). -------------------- |

Well, it is based off of an old movie. And movie titles back then tend to be . . . odd.

Some were, but most of them were about the same as now. If The Crazies wasn't a remake, and the original had never been made, I'm certain it would still be called 'The Crazies'. Or something very similar.

Reminded me of Silent Hill because of the small town atmosphere that you mentioned.
