In a fit of nostalgia, I decided to meander back here to the Edgeworks boards to see how everyone was faring and happened upon the teaser for this. Seems interesting so far. In particular, I noticed the tag line "Are you now or have you ever been." And immediately thought back to a questionnaire I had to take when I enlisted that asked "Have you EVER been an officer or a member of, or made contribution to, an organization dedicated to the use of violence or force to overthrow the U.S. Government, and which engaged in illegal activities to that end, either with an awareness of the organization's dedication to that end or with the specific intent to further such illegal activities." That was an actual question, and it was followed by several other questions that inserted different key words like terrorism, coercion, and militias. Giving a yes answer or not answering truthfully could compromise an individual's security clearance and could call for additional actions taken against the offender. I'm wondering if possibly the use of this tagline could foreshadow a character with a key government position having their patriotism being called into play. After doing some more digging, "Are you now, or have you ever been a member of the communist party," was a key question asked of defendants during the McCarthy hearings. -------------------- PFC Alex Urban
